Key Ingredients:
Amla (Emblica officinalis) – It is commonly known as Indian gooseberry, amla plays an important role in this potent ayurvedic tonic. It is very nutritious and high in vitamin C, amino acids and minerals. The fruit also contains compounds like phenols, tannins, phyllembelic acid, rutin, curcuminoids and emblicol.
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) – Ginger has a very long history in Ayurveda. It is from the Zingiberaceae family and is closely related to cardamom, turmeric, and galangal. It has a very high content of gingerol, a phenol phytochemical compound with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It helps to boost immunity. Ginger also appears to have beneficial effects on the enzymes trypsin and pancreatic lipase, which are important for digestion. Additionally, it helps to relieve or prevent constipation.
Gulancha (Tinospora cordifolia) – Also known as Guduchi, it is an Indian medicinal plant that has been used in Ayurvedic preparations for the treatment of various ailments for centuries.
